"New Artist Thats Making A Big Splash In Thing We Call The Industry"

By now I assume you all know Asher Roth and his hit single, I Love College, but with his new album Asleep in the Bread Aisle coming out the 20th, two new songs have leaked showing that he is much more than a one hit wonder. His first song, As I Em is a well written response to people saying that he is just a gimmick trying to be Eminem. He addresses how “Em paved the way” for him and respects everything he does, but is doing his own thing no matter the color of his skin. Truthfully I never thought that he sounded like Eminem in his songs and was relatively confused when people I knew said he was just trying to gain off of his success, but this song really does lay it out for the critics, so sit down and listen to the lyrics and hopefully you realize Asher really is here doing his own thing. If just explaining it wasn’t enough, Asher comes out with Lions Roar which features Busta Rhymes. With this song he changes his slow flow that he has possessed in every song until now and provides us with something new by speeding up his flow and showing his diversity. Like I said his new album comes out and I can’t wait to hear what else Roth has to offer us.

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian actor, rapper and singer. He is known for playing Jimmy Brooks, the physically disabled character on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
